“Clouds of stone” is the first photographic story of the illustrated series “StoryFrame”, previewed on the App Store. Leonardo Baldini dedicates to readers the expression of his particular photographic technique through fantastic stories that comprise three common ingredients: the female element, the fantasy and Tuscany.

In the world of applications comes a new concept: "StoryFrame - Photo Stories Illustrated." It is the union of six visual arts: photography, cinema, story, comics, painting, and finally, last but not least, digital post-production. The work is a fantasy story narrated through a progression of frames, in the sense of cinematic frames, but also as a frame within which enclose pictures as small paintings very cared for in every detail, in which the reader can grasp the elements of the story, characters, emotions, the complexity implementation.

The shooting, carried out through pure cinematographic style, is founded and is based on a theory in which the shots are "preparatory sketches" where dip the graphic pen, without ever resorting to pre-packaged tricks. The editing of the tables is based then, in true comic style, on an accurate storyboard. This is created before the shooting and in line with the predetermined story.

The book can be browsed in sequence from the beginning to the end, following the script of the author, as well as you can savor every single table as a separate element, every time the reader wants.

The application, available in Italian and English, contains 93 high-resolution images grouped in more than 50 boards. In the final part of the volume, for the curious ones and for the lovers of the "making of", the app collects more than 100 images from the backstage.
The application has an interactive scroll bar of the pages for a quick navigation and a fluid effect curls for a realistic and relaxing reading.
